Health and Safety Consultancy Service

So how does our Consultancy service work?

One of our experienced, qualified and friendly Consultants will initially attend at your place of work, carry out a “Shortfall Gap Assessment” and then organise whatever is required to get you compliant!

We will schedule everything, and aim get you up and running and HSE compliant as soon as possible whilst causing minimum disruption to your business and employees.

We will;

Write a POLICY

If you employ 5 or more employees, you must have a written H&S policy. (as per Health and Safety at Work Act 1974).
We will put together a “specific to your business” Health and Safety policy. Written in plain English and covering all required elements and points.

Control your RISKS

We will set up and implement your;

• Risk Assessments
  (all specific to your business activities)
  
  
• Fire Risk Assessment
  (We will put in place efficient and clear systems and provide uncomplicated advice in order for your company to comply with the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order. On completion of the Fire Risk Assessment, we will provide you with a comprehensive document (25 pages) which will include our finding, recommendations and a details Action Plan)
  
  
• Control of Substances Hazardous to Health
  (COSHH) documentation.
  
  
• Display Screen Equipment
  (DSA) assessments.
  
  
• Facilities for
  Welfare/Health/Safety.

Provide TRAINING

We will set up and provide any required training including;

• Induction training.
  
  
• First Aid
  (The First Response Team only deliver “Ofqual” regulated first aid at work qualifications. You can therefore rest assured that you have fulfilled your legal responsibilities for providing first aid training)
  
  
• Fire Training
  (realistic extinguisher instruction from Fire professionals)
  
  
• Manual Handling
  (required under the Manual Handling Regulations)

We bring the instructors to you! Thus, reducing disruption to your business.
We arrange and set up dates that work for you (including evenings and weekends if required). We then attend and carry out the required training at your Workplace!
Note - We also have numerous training venues at various locations if this is a more convenient option for you.

ACCIDENTS and ILL HEALTH

We will set up systems, training and monitoring to cover any accidents and injuries that may occur at your place of work as per RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013).

We can also provide an Accident Investigation service. (additional cost)

Keep you UP TO DATE and INFORMED!

We then provide a six monthly re visit (for the first 12 months which can then be extended) to check and confirm steps 1 – 4 are being maintained and are up to date.
